The Scout Association has embarked on an exciting three-year project with Sainsbury’s and the new youth volunteering charity V. Sainsbury’s has committed £150,000 to the Scouts, which will be directly matched by V with the aim of recruiting over 1,000 volunteers aged 16-25 into Scouting.
To promote these opportunities, we have been running a marketing campaign through Sainsbury's media channels, print advertising, website and promotional activity. We also held a national Scout 'Community Week' in Sainsbury's stores from 3-9 October 2007. For more information on the relationship between Scouting, Sainsbury’s and V.
