Colchester Scouting is managed in 2 Districts and serves the Borough of Colchester and the surrounding suburbs and villages. Colchester North District covers:

Lexden, Stanway, St Johns, Shrub End & Prettygate, Marks Tey, Ardleigh
Great Horkesley, Lawford, Myland, Great Tey, Greenstead, Eight Ash Green
West Bergholt, Langham and Highwoods

In all, over 900 youngsters and over 120 Adults & Leaders enjoy Scouting in 17 Scout Groups and a thriving Explorer Scout Unit.

In addition we have the following opportunities for our young people, which we manage in conjunction with the other District of Colchester, Estuary.

Scout Band
A traditional military style marching band with many public engagements.
