2007 is THE year for scouting with many opportunities for fun, excitement and companionship. There will also be a lot of exposure in the media, so keep a look out for television programmes, radio shows and newspaper articles.

In Colchester North District, we have some very special events planned for our members to enjoy. These are outlined below. Full information will come to you direct via your group, so please keep asking your leaders about the following events.

Plans are underway for a totally revamped St George’s Day Parade. This year we need to show Colchester we have something to shout about! The Parade will take place on 22 April 2007, starting from Britannia car park and finishing in Castle Park. Full details will be released shortly.

Our Scouting Sunrise will involve a giant sleepover in a central Colchester location, open to all those not at Summer Sunrise Camp being run by the Legacy Explorer Unit.
